WISE Apprenticeship Programme Award

WISE Apprenticeship Programme Award

Troup Bywaters and Anders are the winners of WISE Apprenticeship Programme Award.

TB+A were finalists in the WISE Apprenticeship Programme Award category and we were delighted to take home the trophy in recognition of our scheme and the fact that we have doubled our number of female apprentices to 20%.

Judges comments: This programme is truly integrated into the business and has had a positive impact on apprentices and on the whole workforce. Apprentices have a very clear sense of themselves with a route right up to partnership and ownership.

Caitlin Stuart joined TB+A as an apprentice engineer in 2013 and was the first female apprentice to join the business.

Caitlin works within our commercial design team in London and has worked on some iconic buildings being responsible for the electrical design.

Caitlin is passionate about addressing the stigma that ‘engineering is just for boys’ and undertake numerous ambassadorial activities, promoting the sector and apprenticeships widely.

Caitlin received the Jack Petchey award in 2014 in recognition of her outstanding achievement at College, was crowned Apprentice of the Year at WISE Awards 2015 and was an Apprentice of the Year Finalist at ACE Awards 2017.
