TAC Name Change

TAC Name Change
The Technician Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC) has announced a name-change to better reflect its current focus. The subtle change will replace “technician” with “technical”, as the group has moved beyond level three technician level engineering apprenticeships to promote level six apprenticeships, as well as new apprenticeships in transport planning and the environment.

The Technical Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC) brings together consultancy and engineering firms to encourage the recruitment and training of technician and degree apprentices, helping members to meet their business and HR needs.

The consortium, supported by clients and professional consulting firms, has enabled more than 1,500 placements since its formation in 2010 and now offers six qualifications across rail design, civil engineering, building services engineering and transport design.
