Environmental Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship

Environmental Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship

The Environmental Practitioner (Level 6) Degree Apprenticeship gained approval from the Institute for Apprenticeships (IfA) in August 2018, enabling the trailblazer group to develop an Apprenticeship Standard and supporting End Point Assessment plan.

Before the Apprenticeship can be delivered by training providers and apprentices employed, the Standard has to be developed, consulted upon and submitted to the IfA where it will review the content and ensure compliance to policy and process, before it will approve the Standard.

This proposed Standard has already undergone development by the trailblazer group through a number of workshops, but we now seek broader views from those outside the trailblazer group:  from employers that are likely to use this Apprenticeship, and from other stakeholders, such as Universities and Professional Bodies.

After consultation, the trailblazer group will review the Standard prior to submission to the Institute for Apprenticeships.

We request each organisation submit a single response, and the trailblazer group will review feedback and revise this proposed Standard prior to submission to IfA at the start of November 2018.
